Umit Yalcinalp is an architect at Oracle who is focusing on identity management in cloud computing for SaaS applications. Her 25+ year career beyond Ph.D in computing science has focused on architecting, developing novel technologies in cloud computing, Java, XML and Web technologies. She has participated in several technical standards bodies, is an author of a SOA book and many technical papers, was an editor of several adopted standards and is a speaker at conferences. She is also a founder of Turkish Women in Computing group. She has a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Case Western Reserve University.
