La Shauna “L.E.” Nichols, is most notably known for her tech writing, blogging and community building. A Bay Area native, L.E. lives in San Francisco, CA with her teenage son. With nearly 15 years in the Software Development space building multi-million dollar applications, L.E. is continuing to foster initiatives in STEM as Manager, Software Engineering at Scratch Foundation, the leading learn-to-code platform for k12 aged students serving over 43million users worldwide. L.E. is the Curator of Black WPT, a global career focus network of nearly 4,800 Black Technologists. She serves on the advisory committee at several California based school districts to support tech focused programming including tech pathways for school aged youth. L.E. graduated from Colorado Tech University, Colorado Springs, CO in 2015 with her Masters of Science degree in Information Technology Management.
