A firm believer that technology is a catalyst to building a better future for all of us, Adina has spent her career working in and with technology companies of all stages. At Canaan, she co-leads Canaan Beta – the firm’s consumer seed program – and works closely with the firm’s SaaS and emerging technology portfolios.
Before joining Canaan, Adina was at Frontier Tech Ventures where she invested in early-stage emerging technology companies, specifically those operating in the VR/AR, robotics, and machine learning spaces. While there, she also served as the Managing Director for River: the world’s first frontier technology accelerator. Previously, Adina was an early employee at Zenefits. In her role as Program Manager, she built a comprehensive partner integration strategy that was successfully implemented across several of the largest insurance carriers nationwide. Prior to that, she was a Solutions Engineer at Oracle. Adina holds a B.S. from Stanford University’s Programs in Science, Technology & Society and Management Science & Engineering.
